How long does a vehicle wrap take?
It depends on the vehicle and the scope. Accent pieces may be same-day, while a full color-change on a larger vehicle can take several days including prep, installation, and post-heating. You'll get a realistic timeline with your quote.
How long can a vinyl wrap last?
There's no single number — lifespan depends on the film's quality, how it was installed, sun exposure, whether the vehicle is garaged, and how it's maintained. Quality film that's properly installed and cared for typically lasts for years; a daily driver parked outside in Georgia sun will age faster than a garaged weekend car.
Will vinyl damage my factory paint?
On healthy factory paint, quality vinyl is designed to remove cleanly and actually shields the paint underneath from light wear and UV. Repainted panels, aftermarket paint, or existing damage can be less predictable — we inspect your paint and flag any risk areas before work begins.
How should I care for a wrapped vehicle?
Hand washing with a gentle automotive soap is best. Avoid brush-style automatic washes, keep pressure washers at a safe distance and angle, and clean bird droppings or fuel spills promptly. See our wash guide for the full routine.
Do you remove old vinyl?
Yes — existing wraps, decals, and graphics can be removed as part of a new project. Removal effort varies with the film's age and condition, so it's quoted after we see the vehicle.
Can you wrap only part of my vehicle?
Absolutely. Roofs, hoods, mirrors, trim, stripes, and two-tone designs are all common. Partial wraps are a great way to change the vehicle's look on a smaller budget.
Do you offer commercial wraps?
Yes — vans, trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles. We can work from your existing brand assets or help develop a layout that's readable at a glance on the road.
What does the six-month warranty cover?
WrappedByKool offers a six-month workmanship warranty covering qualifying installation-related issues. Material defects, collision damage, improper care, environmental damage, pre-existing paint problems, and damage caused by third parties may not be covered.
